JJAMDESIGN

Services

Four disciplines, sold as one.

Most engagements use more than one. The point of an end-to-end studio is that the seams aren’t your problem.

01

Product design

Senior product design for software teams pre and post-launch. We embed for 4–12 weeks, ship real artifacts, and leave the team with a system they can keep using.

Typical scope: 6–8 weeks, 1 senior designer, 1 weekly review cycle.

What you get

  • User flows, IA, interaction specs
  • Prototypes engineers can build from
  • Design-system primitives and patterns
  • Usability sessions and synthesis

Good fit

Series-A to growth-stage SaaS that needs a senior designer to ship.

Not a fit

Pixel-only requests with no product context or research access.

02

Web design

Marketing sites, landing pages, content systems. We design and write the system so a non-designer can keep using it after we leave.

Typical scope: 4–8 weeks. Includes copy support, image direction, and CMS modeling.

What you get

  • IA, sitemap, content modeling
  • Marketing-grade page templates
  • Component-level design system
  • CMS configuration (when needed)

Good fit

Teams replacing a four-year-old template with something they own.

Not a fit

Static brochureware with no plan to maintain it.

03

Frontend development

We ship the design, not a Figma file. React, Tailwind, design-system code, performance, and accessibility — written by the people who designed it.

Typical scope: 4–10 weeks, frequently bundled with product or web design.

What you get

  • Production React + Tailwind code
  • Component library with tokens
  • Accessibility audit and remediation
  • Performance budget and verification

Good fit

Teams that have been burned by designer→engineer handoff loss.

Not a fit

Full-stack product builds. We do the frontend; you do the backend.

04

Marketing design

Brand systems, identity refreshes, social and ad sets, decks. One coherent system across every surface a stranger encounters.

Typical scope: 3–6 weeks. Optional retainer for ongoing campaign support.

What you get

  • Logo and brand identity v1
  • Color, type, motion tokens
  • Social/ad templates and one campaign pass
  • Pitch and sales deck templates

Good fit

Teams that have outgrown the founder’s Canva template.

Not a fit

Quarter-million-dollar rebrands. We do v1, not v4.

How engagements work

Three modes. We help you pick the right one.

01

Audit

One week, flat fee. We read the product, the brand, the code, and tell you exactly what we’d do. You can stop here; many teams do.

02

Sprint

Fixed-scope, fixed-price project. 4–12 weeks. One designer, one ship at the end. The default mode for a single discipline.

03

Continuous

Embedded across product + marketing for 3–6 months. Monthly billing, weekly review cycles. For teams replacing a full-time hire.

FAQ

The questions we get on every intake call.

Who is on the team?

Two senior designers (one PM-flavored, one brand-flavored), one frontend engineer. We hire selectively; you’ll never get handed off to a junior.

Where are you based?

San Francisco. We work remote-first with clients in any North American timezone.

How is pricing structured?

Audit is a flat fee. Sprints are fixed-scope fixed-price. Continuous is monthly. No hourly billing — we don’t want either side optimizing for it.

Do you sign an NDA?

Yes, standard mutual NDA before any project specifics. We can sign yours or send ours.

Can you start next week?

Audit, usually yes. Sprints book 2–6 weeks out. Continuous engagements we plan around upcoming launches.

Will you sign a non-compete?

No. We work with one client per category at a time and disclose any near-overlap up front.

Next step

Start with an audit, decide from there.

One week, flat fee, no commitment after. We send you a plan.
